Under 19s Continue Winning Ways

The South Hobart impressive Under 19 team started the early game brightly.  When Max Clarke turned a Harbod cross past the University keeper the scene was set for another high scoring performance from a well drilled South outfit.

Reserves Bounce Back

South's reserves also managed a good win.  Bouncing back after their mid week loss to the NTC.  First half was a bit slow.  A bit of a slog, University were tough opposition.

Olympia's win over Eagles on Friday night was the incentive that South Hobart needed to come out in a positive manner in their Premier League encounter against University.  A win would take South 4 points clear against Eagles.

SOUTH Hobart's stubbornness to relinquish its firm grip on the southern Premier League soccer trophy continued yesterday as it thumped cellar-dweller University 9-0 on the Students' home patch.

 
South Goal Blitz

South won all three divisions of the Forestry Tasmanian Premier League against University at Olinda Grove today.

Under 19s won:  8-1 - Chris Downes 3, Max Clarke 1, Darcy Hall 1, Jackson Nugent 1, James Ince 2

Reserves won 4-0:  Sanga 2, Colin Wain 1, Dylan 1,

Premier League won 9-0:  Andy Brennan 6, Cam Williams 1, Uros 1, Dylan 1

 
Weekend Preview

On Saturday South make the short trip to Olinda Grove to play their Premier League matches against University.  University got a great 1 v 1 draw against Kingborough down at the Den last weekend.
